How to use FMP in Germany
- Register first. Complete VA Form 10-7959f-1 before you need care. Free; processing takes a few weeks.
- Filing claims. Submit itemized bills and documentation to VA FMP, PO Box 469061, Denver CO 80246-9061. German hospitals are generally good at producing the documentation VA requires.
- Emergency care. Germany's emergency care (Notaufnahme) treats you regardless of insurance. Get care first, notify VA within 72 hours, keep all documentation.
